MAiD 101:
Plain-language, practical guidance.

Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) is a challenging topic. If you would like to learn about who is eligible for the procedure, and whether someone can request it ahead of time, this webinar is for you.

Join me for a plain-language information session focused on eligibility and advance requests, including the difference between advance requests and the Waiver of Final Consent.

Thursday Oct 29, 5 pm Pacific Time

Cost: $20 CAD, sliding scale

75 minutes: clear, practical information.

The session will be recorded so you don't have to come live if the timing is inconvenient.

This live, online session includes an opportunity to submit questions in advance, time for Q&A during the session, and a workbook to refer to after the session.

The information is tailored to a Canadian audience, though the broader concepts around consent, decision-making and planning ahead will be valuable to people living elsewhere.

Anyone with a desire to learn more about access, eligibility, and advance requests for MAiD is welcome to attend.

Apprentice Mini Courses are sliding scale: here's why…

Offering “pay what you can” sessions allows me to offer many other FREE resources throughout the year.

Accessibility is very important to me, and I offer many free courses and webinars throughout the year.

None of these events are actually free though: they cost me a great deal to organize and run.

If you can comfortably pay the full rate of $20 Canadian dollars (approx $14 US), your registration supports my work and helps me continue offering free and very low-cost education to others.

Thank you for helping make these conversations accessible.

Rest assured: no one will be turned away because they can’t pay. Please use the following codes to pay what you can for this event:

MAiD5 to pay $5

MAiD10 to pay $10

MAiD15 to pay $15

If none of these options are affordable for you, please reach me by email at [email protected] to request a lower cost or free seat.
